State Week in Review is the longest running Public Affairs program on WUIS-WIPA. It was launched when WUIS went on the air as WSSR in 1975. The weekly program is loosely patterned after the very popular PBS Program, Washington Week in Review. Host and moderator of the program is News Director Rich Bradley. A regular panel, consisting of, Charles Wheeler, Director of the Public Affair Reporting Program at UIS, Chris Mooney, Director of the Illinois Legislative Studies Center at UIS, WUIS Statehouse Bureau Chief Bill Wheelhouse, and WUIS Statehouse Reporter, Sean Crawford are joined by two guest journalists each week to highlight and comment on the top news stories of the week in Illinois state government and politics.
